Paris and Surrounds

Paris, the city of lights with romance, museums, bistrots, cafés, shopping, markets, exquisite buildings, walks along the Seine, boulangeries, patisseries and an abundance of neighborhoods with their own unique personalities.

All waterways lead to Paris - from Holland and Belgium in the north; Germany and Switzerland to the east; the Mediterranean to the south and the Atlantic to the west.

No wonder Paris is the before and after stopover for most people going on barge cruises. The cruises starting or ending in Paris make them convenient and exciting.
