Itinerary
Provence and The Camargue between Avignon and Beziers
The owners of Roi Soleil, Tracey & Guillaume de Perthuis, want you to have a cruise designed just for you. Whether your passion is for history, arts and crafts, adventure, village atmosphere, wine discovery or shopping ... your cruise onboard Roi Soleil will be personally tailored to your specific interests.
Your personal English/French speaking guide will take you in the spacious, air-conditioned VW Eurovan on the excursion of your choice – and his local connections can open doors to private visits for your group alone!
The Provence route is a symphony of diversity in sights, cultures and history. From Avignon, Roi Soleil cruises along the Rhone and Petit Rhone through Provence. The luxury river yacht glides along a tributary of the Rhone through the wild Camargue, the Lagoon of Thau dotted with sailing boats and oyster beds and along the Mediterranean. It eventually enters the Canal du Midi with its giant plane trees and oval locks. It truly is one of the most diverse cruises in all of France.
The highlights above are just some of the choices. The route will be reversed on alternate weeks. |
